John Argentino is a PhD Candidate in the Math Department at Tulane whose research focuses on the development of new methods for analyzing repeated cross-sectional data. Interested in the capacity for math to be leveraged towards human rights and environmental justice, John has long been involved with the Math For All Conference at Tulane and has spent extensive time analyzing food security data collected by the World Food Programme in a host of countries. Once a secondary math teacher with the Peace Corps in Tanzania, John is happy to share his experience with anyone interested in working abroad after school.
