Baris Alan
Statistical Consultant
Baris Alan is a Fulbright Scholar and PhD candidate with broad interests in international political economy. His work combines advanced statistical methods—including network analysis, regression, time series analysis, and natural language processing—with real-world data. He has experience working with large socioeconomic and political datasets and has contributed to projects on inequality, political speeches, climate negotiations, social innovation, and discrimination in mortgage lending and school applications. Outside of research, Baris enjoys spending time in nature, reading, and playing soccer.
