CAIDS Data Science Achievement Award  

The CAIDS Data Science Achievement Award honors graduating seniors who have demonstrated sustained commitment and excellence in data science through their coursework and engagement in CAIDS student programs.

Students selected for this distinction earn the official designation of “CAIDS Data Scientist” in recognition of their academic achievement, applied experience, and leadership within the CAIDS community. 

Award Benefits:  

Recipients of the CAIDS Data Science Achievement Award will receive:

- A commemorative certificate

- Recognition at a formal celebration reception

- A CAIDS Data Scientist graduation stole and commemorative pin

Eligibility Criteria:  

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

- Complete two or more CAIDS courses with a grade of B+ or higher,

- Participate with distinction in a CAIDS student engagement program for at least one year,

- Or fulfill a combination of both coursework and program participation.

Students may nominate themselves or be nominated by a Tulane University faculty member.
