AI Innovation Internship Program
The AI Innovation Internship program offers graduate and advanced undergraduate students the opportunity to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, research, and real-world impact. This paid internship immerses students in Tulane-led research and innovation projects that emphasize ethical, community-engaged, and applied AI.
Interns collaborate closely with faculty, AI engineers, and campus partners to help transform ideas into working prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs). The program is designed to build both technical expertise and professional confidence while contributing to meaningful research and innovation initiatives.
Program Objectives:
1. Support Tulane faculty, researchers, and innovators in developing AI-enabled tools, prototypes, and workflows
2. Foster responsible, ethical, and community-engaged approaches to artificial intelligence
3. Translate technical knowledge into practical, real-world solutions
Project Types:
AI Innovation Interns will contribute to a range of projects, depending on faculty needs and student interests. Project types may include:
Prototype development and app engineering
