Community-Engaged Data Program
The Community-Engaged Data Program is currently a pilot program that helps data-minded graduate and undergraduate students engage with communities while supporting data projects and outreach.
Community-Engaged Data Interns work with Tulane and New Orleans communities to increase access to programming around data literacy and STEM engagement, while also supporting the dissemination of data information to the general audiences.
Program Objective
Leaders and interns aim to increase tpublic access to data information by working with community partners on data-related projects.
Community-Engaged Summer Data Interns
In the summer, Community-Engaged Data Interns work with community partners on data-related social impact projects. In the Summer of 2025, CAIDS placed Tulane graduate and undergraduate students as interns, working on data-related projects with The Water Institute and Agenda For Children.
